Overhead lights and cheating.

So, last week I'm in my new favorite coffee place at DT Mega Mall, Cafe Coffee Day. It is afternoon and I am enjoying a cup of joe and a read. I am in my usual spot that has a comfy chair and good lighting from the window outside. This window and it's great light have wood me from my previous favorite place, Barista's in the basement of this same mall.

I had just noticed that the afternoon light is starting to dim ever so slightly. I will be leaving in 30 minutes, but I think to myself. "Hmmm, wonder if they have over head lights in this area if I were ever to come at night" As I think this I look up to examine the ceiling. "Yup, there they are!" again to myself, and back to my reading I go. In the next 30 seconds, POOF, on come the over head lights. Now this MAY have been a coincidence, but they keep a pretty good eye on their customers so I'm kinda betting they actually notices my examination of the over-heads.

Today I went down to my old hang out to get iced tea as I was very hot and Coffee Day has no cold coffee drinks. As I went to the cash register to order the guy looks at me and says. "Been long time!" I felt like such a cheater. He brought me my iced tea for take away and hung around to ensure that it tasted good and that everything was OK with great, sincere concern. I felt SO BAD! It's all about the lighting baby!
